The Role: Product Manager (fixed-term contract)

dunnhumby is seeking a Product Manager to work on a 12-month fixed-term contract, focused on developing data-driven, customer-centric products. The role involves tailoring Tesco’s product ranges and planograms to optimise efficiency at the store level.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the entire product lifecycle (research, discovery, delivery, and optimisation)
  • Define and execute product strategy, roadmaps, and backlog prioritisation
  • Collaborate with data science, engineering, and analytics to deliver scalable solutions
  • Lead the delivery of data science models designed to be scalable and API-ready
  • Work with Tesco stakeholders to align product outcomes with customer and commercial objectives
  • Utilise data and experimentation to continuously improve product performance

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in Product Management for complex, data-driven projects
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data science
  • Demonstrated expertise in research and discovery phases of product development
  • Experience working with data science or insights-driven products
  • Technical knowledge of APIs, including the ability to build or manage API services
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client engagement skills
  • Proficiency in backlog management, prioritisation, and agile product roadmap planning
