Believ: ABOUT US

At Believ, formerly known as Liberty Charge, we believe sustainable transport should be accessible to everyone. We're a Charge Point Operator (CPO) on a mission to create the UK's most reliable electric vehicle charging network that doesn't cost the earth and leaves no one behind.

We work closely with local authorities and businesses to deliver reliable, high-quality charging networks at pace, at scale, and at zero cost.

We offer all the advantages of being a scale-up business, but with the added security and long-term backing from well-known parents - Liberty Global (who also own our delivery partner, Virgin Media O2) and Zouk Capital (who manage the Government's Charging Investment Infrastructure Fund).

You'll be joining this exciting journey at the start of our scale-up phase, and work with us to hit the ambitious targets our shareholders have set. You'll become part of a passionate and supportive in-house cross-functional Tech team of 15 people, working on-site 3 days a week, following agile and lean best practices.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to join our growing Tech team, owning the internal operational tools that underpin Believ's ability to deploy and manage electric vehicle charging infrastructure at scale. As we grow from thousands to tens of thousands of charge points, the quality of our internal platforms directly determines how fast we can move, this role is central to that mission.

Reporting to the Head of Product, you will be responsible for defining and driving the roadmap for our internal tools, working closely with operations, engineering, and commercial stakeholders to ensure our people have the right technology to do their best work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal tooling or operational platform products, a data-driven approach to prioritisation, and the communication skills to align a range of stakeholders around a clear product direction.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own and evolve the multi-quarter roadmap for Believ's internal operational tools, aligned to the company's scaling ambitions.
  • Translate operational pain points and business goals into a prioritised backlog of high-impact product initiatives.
  • Define and track clear success metrics for each product area, using data to guide prioritisation and measure outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce operational overhead as the business scales.

Stakeholder Management & Discovery

  • Build strong relationships with operations, field teams, commercial, and finance stakeholders to deeply understand their workflows and constraints.
  • Run structured discovery: interviews, observation, and data analysis to surface unmet needs and validate hypotheses before committing to solutions.
  • Facilitate regular roadmap reviews with key stakeholders, communicating trade-offs clearly and managing expectations effectively.
  • Act as the voice of internal users within the Tech team, ensuring their needs are represented at every stage of product development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Delivery & Execution

  • Own the upstream phase of delivery: problem framing, solution exploration, requirements definition, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with engineering leads and the Head of Product to ensure handoffs are clear, well-scoped, and set teams up for efficient execution.
  • Monitor delivery progress, remove blockers, and communicate status to stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies as needed and champion lean, iterative ways of working across the product function.

Operational Scaling & Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify bottlenecks in operational workflows that limit Believ's ability to scale charge point deployment.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, using user feedback and performance data to iterate on existing tools.
  • Stay close to industry trends in operational tooling, field service management, and internal platform development.
  • Support the development of product documentation, user guides, and training materials where relevant.

About you

At Believ, we are building a culture that attracts and retains the best talent. We are a dedicated and high-performing team, accustomed to working at pace in an ever-evolving industry, and we are looking for people who are as passionate as us about cutting carbon emissions and providing cleaner air for all. The successful candidate will have the following attributes and skills:

  • Experience: 4+ years' experience as a Product Manager, with a demonstrable track record of owning internal tools or operational platforms.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex operational problems into clear product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data to define metrics, measure product impact, and drive prioritisation decisions.
  • Agile & Lean Practices: Solid experience working within agile delivery environments, with a lean mindset focused on learning quickly and shipping iteratively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.

Strategic Mindset

  • Ability to zoom out from individual feature requests and think about the broader operational and business context, ensuring the product roadmap is solving the right problems at the right time.
  • Willingness to take ownership, push back constructively when priorities are unclear, and proactively seek out opportunities to drive outsized operational impact.
  • Strong focus on outcomes over outputs driven by measurable improvements in operational efficiency and team capability rather than feature volume.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience, and a can-do approach to ambiguity. Comfortable operating in a fast-growing scale-up where the landscape shifts quickly.

If you don't meet every requirement but are excited by the role, we'd still love to hear from you.
