Product Manager
The Product Manager – Payment Integrations is responsible for managing and developing the integration ecosystem for FEP PAY, Freemans Event Partners’ payment technology solution for the live events, hospitality and sports industries.
The role focuses on delivering seamless integrations between FEP PAY and third-party platforms including EPOS, ticketing, hospitality and eCommerce systems. Working across technical, commercial and operational teams, the position ensures integrations are scalable, secure and aligned with partner and customer requirements.
Acting as the link between external software providers and internal stakeholders, the role combines product strategy, stakeholder management and technical delivery to support innovation, operational efficiency and revenue growth across FEP PAY’s partner network.
Essential
- Proven experience in a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager or Integration Product role.
- Experience working with payment platforms, fintech solutions, EPOS systems or transactional technologies.
- Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations and software development lifecycles.
- Experience managing third-party software integrations and external technology partnerships.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to balance customer needs, technical feasibility and business priorities.
- Experience working within agile delivery environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of payment security, PCI compliance and data governance principles.
Desirable
- Experience within hospitality, events, retail or sports technology sectors.
- Knowledge of omnichannel payment systems and customer transaction journeys.
- Experience working with EPOS, ticketing, eCommerce or venue management systems.
- Familiarity with payment gateways, acquiring services and merchant services.
- Experience working with SaaS products and cloud-based platforms.
- Technical understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and middleware platforms.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence or similar product management tools.
- Background in fintech or payment processing environments.
- Experience working with large-scale live event operations.

Product & Integration Management
- Own and manage the roadmap for third-party integrations across the FEP PAY ecosystem.
- Identify, assess and prioritise integration opportunities with strategic software partners and platforms.
- Define product requirements, user stories and functional specifications for integration projects.
- Work closely with engineering and technical teams to deliver robust, scalable and secure payment integrations.
- Ensure integrations align with business objectives, customer needs and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with payment gateways, POS providers, ticketing systems and digital platforms to create seamless customer experiences.
- Monitor integration performance, identify optimisation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Build strong relationships with external technology partners, software vendors and key customer stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for integration-related discussions and technical collaboration.
- Work cross-functionally with commercial, operations, finance, compliance and support teams.
- Support sales and account management teams with technical product knowledge during client onboarding and partnership discussions.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather business and technical requirements.

Product Strategy & Delivery
- Contribute to the long-term product vision and strategy for FEP PAY.
- Analyse market trends, competitor solutions and emerging technologies within payments and hospitality technology.
- Support the successful delivery of new features, enhancements and integration releases.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to quality standards.
- Help define KPIs and success metrics for integrations and customer adoption.
- Support testing, UAT and rollout activities across multiple stakeholders and environments.
Compliance & Operational Excellence
- Ensure integrations comply with PCI DSS, payment security and data protection requirements.
- Maintain accurate product documentation, integration specifications and process flows.
- Work with operational teams to support incident resolution and integration troubleshooting.
- Drive best practices in product management, agile delivery and partner onboarding.
