What we're looking for?
We're looking for a commercially minded and proactive Product Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in the travel industry who is passionate about building supplier relationships, sourcing new products and driving commercial success.
As our Product Manager, you'll take ownership of our travel product portfolio, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure our product offering remains competitive, profitable and aligned with customer needs. You'll play a key role in developing new revenue opportunities, supporting our sales teams with product knowledge and representing Inspire across the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Source new products for Inspire revenue streams
- Induction and Product Sales training
- Responsible for understanding, managing, implementing, and expanding all aspects of product within the travel department
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all suppliers, including hotels, bed banks, tour operators, cruises, airlines, tourist boards, DMCs and ancillary services (400+) with regular supplier review meetings
- Ensure product support is on hand for all sales staff and BDM’s
- Manage product-related matters across all departments within Inspire (Finance, Admin, etc.)
- Work with Head of Commercial, Product and Marketing to drive commercial revenue growth
- Generate marketing and commercial revenue for yearend figures including marketing budgets, conferences and events. Ensure invoicing and payment is carried out.
- Oversee onboarding of suppliers within all departments including commercial agreements, systems access/integration and financial set up
- Ensure we have quality content for all Inspire Storefronts
- Communication within business to ensure clear updates on commercial opportunities and supplier information
- Attend and represent Inspire at events.
- Ensure training calendar is updated with relevant suppliers.
- Conduct regular price and margin checks to ensure we have competitive rates.

What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of the travel industry including hotels, airlines, cruises, tour operators, destination management companies (DMC’s), bed banks and ancillary travel services.
- Knowledge of product sourcing, supplier management and commercial negotiations.
- Understanding of revenue generation, pricing strategies, margin management and profitability.
- Knowledge of contract management and commercial agreements.
- Familiarity with travel booking platforms and product management systems.
- Knowledge of supplier onboarding processes, financial administration and invoicing procedures.
- Awareness of market trends, competitor activity and emerging travel products.
- Excellent supplier relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure competitive commercial agreements.
- Product sourcing and portfolio management expertise.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills, including pricing, margin analysis and market comparisons.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging product and sales training.
- Project management skills, capable of coordinating multiple suppliers and cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a supplier portfolio effectively.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive approach to resolving product-related issues.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing commercial agreements and supplier information.
- Experience attending and representing a business at industry conferences, trade shows and networking events.
