Product Manager – Semarchy Data Platform
About the Role
Semarchy has established itself as a leader in the data management space. We’re seeking a Product Manager to support our development teams and help expand the Semarchy Data Platform (SDP).
As a key creative talent, you’ll work closely with engineering, design, and field teams to transform customer problems and market evidence into differentiated product capabilities that drive adoption and value.
Your mission is to increase adoption and market fit for Semarchy’s AI-oriented capabilities, including agentic access to governed Data Products and AI-assisted stewardship. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for AI integration, data governance, and hands-on experience in a fast-moving tech product domain.
Key Responsibilities
-
Customer & Market Insight
- Run structured discovery and research to validate customer pain points, map alternatives, and assess willingness to adopt solutions.
- Engage continuously with customers and partners, including participation in design partner programs.
-
Focus on Business Value
- Anchor all decisions in customer outcomes, not just technical features.
- Articulate the customer’s problem, its impact, and why it matters, feeding insights into product strategy.
-
Roadmapping & Prioritisation
- Own and maintain a clear, transparent roadmap with structured reviews, milestones, and trade-off rationale.
- Prioritise with data-driven evidence and align deliverables with customer needs, updating the roadmap monthly.
-
Full Delivery Cycle
- Partner with engineering, design, and sales from discovery through release.
- Develop specifications, UI concepts, and product backlogs that shape end-to-end experiences—not just features.
- Ensure deliverables are pre-release-ready, with internal training, previews, and guidance materials for the field.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
