Product Manager - The Future of Finance

Light exists to replace factory-era ERPs with software that feels alive. Our Smart Financial Platform gives modern, global companies superpowers—automated accounting, real-time reporting, and financial flows that move at the speed of the business.

We build with our customers, ship fast, and obsess over craft.

About the Role

(We’re defining a new era in financial software)

We’re an early team shaping a brand-new software category. Here’s what makes us different:

  • Engineers who love debits and credits
  • Designers who obsess over reconciliation states
  • Operators treating finance like a product not just a chore

If you’re thrilled by the idea of modernising global finance, one workflow at a time—then you’re at the right place.

Backed by top-tier investors and advisors, we’re creating products with the freedom to ship boldly and own every outcome.

The Opportunity

You’ll own the product strategy and execution for a core financial category—from launch to setting global standards. This isn’t just another feature rollout. You’re building the next generation of finance tools, where automation meets human possibility.

Responsibilities

You’re responsible for:

  • Turning complex financial workflows into living, intuitive AI experiences
  • Partnering with Engineering, Design & Data to ship fast without sacrificing quality
  • Operationalising founder-level strategic thinking: breaking ambiguous visions into clear priorities, metrics, and a compelling roadmap
  • Deep user collaboration: working directly with CFOs, controllers & finance teams to uncover pain points and design real automation
  • Crisp decision-making: balancing speed with precision while ensuring every choice delivers measurable impact

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
