The job
As the Product Manager for our core products, including IntelliPen and our insurance suite (Intelli-ACT and Intelli-PRT), you’ll report to the Head of Product, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and customers to establish a prioritised product roadmap for your products that joins the value proposition to the implementation.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Play a vital role in delivering customer-focused products / feature enhancements through an agile approach – managing the full product lifecycle and user experience of IntelliPen core products and functionality.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and utilise a variety of product methods to ensure your prioritised roadmap and backlogs are aligned with customer needs, wider product strategy and Procentia’s business objectives.
- Continuously monitor product performance, analysing key metrics and customer feedback, and make insight-backed recommendations for new products, features, enhancements or defect resolution.
- Balance feature requests from clients, industry and regulatory requirements and exploiting new and emerging technologies to create a compelling product roadmap.
- Monitor progress against plan, manage change and risk effectively and proactively communicate out to teams, stakeholders and clients.
- Advocate for product ways of working and be the voice of the customer.
- Create clear product requirement documents and other agile product artefacts for any future changes / releases, and our standard product offering – ensuring there’s full clarity for developers, the wider business and clients.
- Retrospectively analyse existing features and functionality and create documentation where required.
- Keep up to date with the pensions industry and market – including legislative, your competitors, market trends and emerging technologies and how these may affect the products that you manage in order to drive innovation. Conduct market / user research when required.

Key skills and experience
- 5+ years as a Product Manager / Senior Product Owner in an agile environment or have been through transformation to agile.
- Hard product skills including prioritisation, road mapping, UX, and backlog management.
- Project or Programme management experience.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication (written, verbal and non-verbal) and collaboration skills.
- Strong focus on delivery and executing at pace, whilst always advocating for the “why”.
- Has a focus on meeting deadlines, prioritising work, and dealing with change. Skilled in managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Focus on “doing” – you are a problem solver and can make considered decisions under pressure.
- Commercially minded with proven ability to manage the product value risks (feasibility, viability, usability and desirability).
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
