Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you need:

As with any role, we want to find the right person and we want to make sure you know it’s the right role for you too. You will need:

  • At least five years’ experience in product management, ideally gained within digital, software or platform-based environments
  • Proven experience within a Product Management function, preferably within an innovative corporate environment
  • A demonstrable ability to own product problem spaces and drive outcomes, rather than simply managing backlogs or delivery activity
  • Strong product discovery capability, with the ability to move from insight to action and translate customer, market and data-led insight into clear product decisions
  • Experience working with enterprise clients or complex stakeholder environments, with the confidence to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of colleagues and clients
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to connect product decisions to business impact
  • An ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments, taking ownership for shaping direction
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain composed, diplomatic, professional at all times
  • Self-motivation, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset, with the drive to solve problems and make practical suggestions for improvement
  • The ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, marketing and sales

Day to Day:

  • Own defined product areas or problem spaces across multiple platforms, aligned to regional priorities and global product strategy
  • Identify, frame and prioritise customer and business problems, working closely with clients, regional stakeholders and internal teams
  • Act as the voice of the user and the business, ensuring product decisions reflect real needs and commercial context
  • Take ownership for solving problems, from small iterative improvements through to larger strategic opportunities
  • Lead end-to-end product discovery, translating insights into clear problem statements, solution hypotheses and prioritised opportunities
  • Partner with design and delivery teams to validate and refine solutions before build, owning the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and post-release optimisation
  • Define and own product roadmaps for assigned areas, aligned to Head of Product direction, regional business priorities and global platform strategy
  • Make clear, outcome-led prioritisation decisions, balancing client needs, commercial opportunities and technical considerations
  • Manage and synthesise inputs from regional MDs and other stakeholders, ensuring decisions are well informed but not consensus driven
  • Work closely with delivery leads, engineers and design teams to translate priorities into execution, staying close to delivery without becoming delivery-led, ensuring focus remains on outcomes rather than output
  • Partner with marketing, sales and client teams to support go-to-market activity
  • Contribute to improving client and user satisfaction, product adoption and competitiveness in new business opportunities, ensuring new features and enhancements are clearly positioned, understood and adopted
  • Work closely with global product counterparts and actively contribute to building a globally aligned, product-led operating model, ensuring consistency across platforms, reuse of solutions where appropriate and alignment to broader product direction
  • Actively contribute to building a globally aligned, product-led operating model
  • Operate as part of a high-performing product team, actively contributing to standards, practices and ways of working
  • Partner effectively with shared design resources and cross-functional teams
  • Help elevate the overall capability of the product function through strong ownership, accountability and bias for action
