Product Manager – Financial Services
Our client is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to oversee and refine a portfolio of products and services within a regulated financial services environment.
You will collaborate closely with product, operations, compliance, technical, marketing, and customer-facing teams to:
- Monitor product performance
- Deliver positive customer outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a range of products and services, ensuring they maintain value, growth, and good customer outcomes.
- Review product performance using data, insights, and customer feedback, identifying growth opportunities and risk areas.
- Lead competitor and market research to inform future product priorities and innovations.
- Act as a product subject matter expert, supporting product owners, delivery teams, and business readiness activities.
- Oversee product governance, including:
- Reporting on customer outcomes, performance, target market, value, and risk
- Work with technical, compliance, and legal teams to ensure:
- Accurate, compliant products, literature, and customer communications align with regulatory requirements.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, providing:
- Third-line product support for sales, operations, and customer teams.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in product management within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Product governance
- Regulatory compliance
- Customer outcomes and lifecycle management
- Data-driven mindset, able to:
- Assess performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, with fluency in engaging:
- Product, operations, compliance, technical, marketing, and customer teams.
- Clear communication and presentation skills, including:
- Simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Organisational and delivery-focused, able to:
- Manage multiple priorities
- Meet deadlines.
- A relevant degree or qualification in:
- Business, finance, marketing, or product development (highly desirable).
