Product Manager
Contract: Hybrid Working options Available
Location: Bupa Place, Salford Quays or Willow House, Staines
Permanent Contract
Salary range: From £58,700 dependant on experience
10% Management Scheme Bonus

This role will contribute to ensure that our UKI product offerings remain customer centric, differentiated, and competitive, whilst delivering fair value and good customer outcomes.
This Role Will
- Carry out fair value assessments, regular product monitoring and governance, and product reviews.
- Define and manage plans to address areas of underperformance and/or fair value issues.
- Support the review and evolution of the product Terms & Conditions and literature.
- Be a product expert in the review of customer facing and internal documentation and for internal and external enquiries.
- Interpret market, customer, and competitive information, and understand the internal context to help create a future product pipeline.
How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen
- Carry out annual fair value assessments/product reviews and monthly product monitoring.
- Review the results with the cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
- Support the review and evolution of the T&Cs and product literature in the capacity of Product Lead, as part of a cross-functional team.
- Be the Product expert in the review of customer facing and internal documentation, to ensure these are accurate and compliant with the Financial Promotions rules and Consumer Duty rules.
- Review, understand and monitor the relevant health funding markets using a range of sources including web analysis and recognised market reports.
- Understand and articulate how the dental products fit into the wider portfolio.
- Help with the identification of product development/improvement opportunities and the definition of the product strategy.
- Maintain and promote a culture of good risk and control management, ensuring good customer and regulatory outcomes.
- Support or manage (as relevant) the introduction of product enhancements and new products.

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
- Product management experience, ideally within the Private Medical Insurance industry or alternatively within the General Insurance industry or the Financial Services industry.
- Ideally good knowledge of Bupa’s funding products and the relative customer journeys.
- Experience in managing or supporting fair value assessments and product reviews.
- Experience in the definition and management of product improvement plans.
- Experience in managing or supporting the review of Terms and Conditions.
- Some experience or exposure to risk and incident management.
