Alexa+ Personal Assistant
Alexa+ is our next-generation, generative AI-powered personal assistant — more conversational, intelligent, and personalized, helping you get things done. This is a rare opportunity to shape how millions of customers across the UK & Ireland experience the world’s best personal assistant — defining what it means for Alexa to truly understand and serve British and Irish customers.
We’re looking for a Product Manager who will shape how Alexa sounds, feels, and connects with customers across the UK and Ireland — making her culturally relevant, contextually aware, and genuinely relatable.
You’ll work at the intersection of AI, culture, and customer experience, using prompt engineering tools to localise Alexa’s personality for millions of customers. You’ll own the strategy and adapt global personality frameworks to reflect local nuances, test relentlessly, and regularly iterate and launch your product based on real customer signals. This is not a developer role — you won’t be writing production code, though you will influence technical decisions. You’ll be much more hands-on with the product itself — this is not a one-and-done project — it’s a continuous, evolving craft.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Localise Alexa’s personality for UK and Ireland customers — shaping conversational behaviour, tone, manner, and relatability using AI-based prompting tools and deep cultural understanding
- Own and adapt global Personality Style frameworks to local preferences, ensuring cultural and contextual relevance across all customer touchpoints
- Prototype and experiment — get hands-on with prompt tools, create examples, run A/B tests, and iterate rapidly based on results
- Ensure consistency of personality and tone across verticals and experiences
- Define quality and safety frameworks for automation, including guardrails, scenario coverage, validation, and regression strategies as we scale
- Establish performance measurement for Alexa behaviour — setting expectations for experimentation, A/B testing, analytics, and learning loops
- Provide systems-level oversight across tools, APIs, knowledge bases, prompts, and integrations — identifying structural constraints and influencing architectural direction
- Champion customer insights to influence global roadmaps, bringing the UK and Ireland customer voices to the table

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
