Join us as a Product Manager – Brick
Wienerberger Ltd manufactures and provides wall, roof and landscaping products for the construction sector. We offer innovative and sustainable solutions across the whole building envelope for new build, renovation projects and across the building industry.
About the Role
You will join the team as a Product Manager for our Brick products, where you will be delivering high‑quality product portfolio management, and leading initiatives that strengthen our brick range.
You’ll be providing clear insights, proactive product governance and championing portfolio development, whilst also collaborating across multiple teams to shape a strong commercial future for our brick category.
You will understand the market landscape, capture the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and be the expert for your designated product lines.
Duties also include:
Managing Life Cycle activities from ideation through to exit planning for designated product lines Defining and implementing a 5‑year product portfolio strategy and 18‑month tactical plans. Ensuring full adherence to the annual Category Management governance model & the new product development process. Supporting idea generation and innovation within rolling 5‑year Category Plans. Ensuring product data is accurate and maintained across all platforms, including PIM systems. Developing product promotion, distribution and pricing strategies aligned to business objectives. Monitoring and analysing product performance and recommending corrective actions. Developing and maintaining a Product Optimisation Roadmap. Supporting the sale of non‑standard and reject products through pricing and promotion proposals. Working with Channel Marketing to understand segmentation and proposition needs. Developing commercially viable business cases for new product introduction. Defining target segments, pricing, sales forecasts and go‑to‑market approaches. Creating Product Launch Plans. Supporting customer‑facing teams with product training and competency building. Ensuring effective post‑launch reviews and addressing issues. Monitoring product budgets, stock levels Completing monthly reporting Contributing to key governance meetings

There are opportunities for career development and collaboration across multiple functions. The role is based at our Cheadle Head Office (near Stockport) with hybrid working options.
Regular travel across the UK is expected. A company car/allowance is provided.
Working hours: Mon to Fri. 9am to 5pm
About You
Essential Experience as a Product Manager managing products for the construction and building sector Good understanding of the routes to market for products in this sector Passion for innovation and an entrepreneurial mindset Project management skills Stakeholder management experience Strong communication skills Ability to present information and influence decisions/change Market‑sensing skills (inc. capturing VOC and interpreting market insights) Analytical skills to identify key trends Teamwork Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel Desirable Commercial experience University level education or equivalent training/experience (Technical disciplines such as Engineering or Architecture are an advantage)
