Job Description: Senior Product Manager (Broker Channel) – Permanent
About the Role
Build a brilliant future with Hiscox.
At Hiscox UK, we set industry benchmarks in insurance, delivering strong growth and exceptional returns through top-tier talent and empowering teams. Whether insuring luxury homes, pioneering tech companies, or specialised businesses, we pride ourselves on tailoring premium insurance solutions tailored to unique needs.
Business Context
Hiscox UK is driving a major transformation to ensure long-term competitiveness, focusing on four core areas: Direct, Broker, Operations, and Underwriting. Strengthening sustainable transformation capability, this initiative requires clear ownership and delivery of high-impact projects.
As a Product Manager, you will partner strategically with the Broker business area, shaping and delivering the roadmap to support brokers in placing, servicing, and evolving their business with Hiscox. This includes transforming broker-facing journeys, trading capabilities, and systems—aligning with market expectations, broker demands, and competitive trends.
This senior role demands strong stakeholder leadership and trusted relationships at the UK Leadership Team (UKLT) level.
The Role: Broker Channel
Purpose
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership to define, own, and evolve the multi-year roadmap for the Broker business area, ensuring end-to-end accountability for strategic outcomes, investment decisions, and benefits realisation.
- Articulate, evolve, and implement roadmap outcomes tailored to the Broker vertical with clear trade-off management across competing priorities.
- Lead Discovery & Experience Design:
- Define problem framing, facilitate hypothesis-driven discovery, and guide UX/CX collaboration.
- Own product intent, ensuring business needs translate into outcome-based requirements for broader delivery teams.
- Bridge the gap between the business verticals and Transformation function, clearly articulating change cases and required capabilities.
- Balancing demands: Secure prioritisation, broker investments, and competitive positioning.
- Proactive issue mitigation: Identify delivery risks and correct behaviours to safeguard outcomes.
- Relationships: Foster close working partnerships across business and transformation stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
