Job Summary
Vertiv is a market leading data center infrastructure and solutions provider, with its Power Business Unit including also electrical switchgears and busbars. Operating globally, it is serving hyperscalers and large co-locators data center customers, along with Commercial and Industrial segments.
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Product Manager to support the development and growth of the Busbars line of business across EMEA, with clear ownership of product lifecycle, market requirements, profitability, sales enablement, and go-to-market execution.
The successful candidate will concentrate on the strategic and operational management of the Busbars portfolio, which includes:
- HPB High PowerBar 800 to 6300 A IP55
- MPB(3) Medium PowerBar 160 - 1250 A IP54
- Track PowerBar Track 160 - 2500 A IP2X
- CRPB Cast resin Power Bar 800 - 6300 A IP68
Ensuring alignment with customer needs, regional market opportunities, and the company’s overall EMEA and global product strategy.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of the Busbars portfolio, including new product introduction (NPDI process), line extensions, product updates, rationalization, and end-of-production planning (phase-in / phase-out process).
- Gather and prioritize customer, channel, and market requirements through direct engagement with sales teams, consultants, contractors, distributors, and end users.
- Define and communicate voice-of-customer requirements and support product business cases for new developments and enhancements.
- Research market trends, demand drivers, specification practices, and competitor positioning in Busbars markets.
- Develop regional go-to-market plans and support sales and marketing strategies to maximize portfolio revenue and profitability.
- Manage product line profitability, pricing guidance, forecast assumptions, and corrective actions to support business targets.
- Support sales teams on technical positioning, product education, competitive comparisons, and major project opportunities requiring deep application knowledge.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product training, launch materials, and sales enablement collateral for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve lead time, availability, quality, and lifecycle support of the Busbars portfolio.
- Collaborate with consultants and contractors, in coordination with Technical Sales, to help secure inclusion of Busbars solutions within project specifications.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, customer visits, and other relevant events to strengthen market visibility and gather market intelligence.
- Communicate regularly with senior management and provide periodic updates on product performance, market developments, pipeline quality, win rate, and strategic opportunities.

Essential Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred (such as MSc, etc.)
- At least 5 years’ previous experience in product management, technical marketing, application engineering, or strategic business development within power distribution or adjacent electrical infrastructure markets.
- Strong knowledge of Busbars technologies, applications, customer requirements, and procurement procedures within the industry.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product roadmaps, business cases, and commercial actions.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage growth, profitability, pricing, and portfolio priorities.
- English Business Proficiency (at least C1) is a requirement.
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop technical and commercial presentations.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and supply chain.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems such as CRM and planning tools.
- Motivated, professional, self-driven, and goal-orientated approach.
- Ability to travel across the region as required.
