What’s the role?

We are seeking a senior individual to join the Buyside Product team focusing on evolving Operations strategy. This role will report to the Global Head of Buy-Side Post-Trade Product and will play a critical role in defining the future state of our front-to-back operating model and IBOR strategy. With data integrity at the core of middle-office workflows, the role will ensure we power our clients' operations with accurate, timely, and reliable investment data, including data sourced from trusted third-party partners.

As part of the Buyside Product team, they will be responsible for setting priorities that contribute to the overall strategic buyside product roadmap. In this role, you will need to apply working knowledge of middle and back-office workflows to define product design and detailed specifications.

Your work will directly contribute to improving data quality, operational efficiency, and client outcomes while supporting our priority partnerships and strategic operating model initiatives.

We Will Trust You To

  • Define and drive product priorities aligned to client needs and broader strategic objectives.
  • Own and manage the product roadmap for key areas, including asset class expansion and operational readiness.
  • Analyse workflows across front-to-middle office functions to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements and partner with Engineering to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure start-of-day readiness by driving improvements in data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across critical workflows.
  • Use data, operational metrics, and client feedback to inform prioritization and product decisions.
  • Lead integrations with third-party partners and internal systems, ensuring alignment with target operating models.
  • Track delivery against milestones, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes.

You Will Need To Have

  • 8+ years of experience in buy-side asset management or financial technology
  • Strong understanding of data integration, reconciliation, or data integrity management processes
  • Working knowledge of investment workflows, particularly across front-to-middle office operations
  • Experience owning product initiatives and driving delivery across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and inform product decisions.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering teams in an agile development environment.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage senior technical and business stakeholders.

We’d Love To See

  • Experience with middle office workflows and operational processes
  • Exposure to asset class lifecycles across Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, and Derivatives
  • Familiarity with enterprise buy-side solutions including front office, IBOR, and ABOR
  • Experience leading client onboarding, integrations, or mid to large-scale product rollouts.
  • Understanding of target operating model design and implementation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-driven environment.
