Job Description

Are you a visionary product manager equipped to shape the play of the future? We are looking for an experienced product manager whose passion is to help children be creative and learn through play. This product manager would be responsible for our connected product app within the creative play lab, enabling play experiences as well as partnering with our technology domain teams to deliver world-class, high-quality products that create fun and memorable play moments for children and adults alike.

What you’ll be doing:

User Champion - You are the voice of the user inside the team. You will:

  • Translate user research, analytics, support tickets, and app store reviews into compelling opportunities, that deliver value to our users and the business.
  • Own the product vision and strategy for the app area and gain buy-in throughout the organization.
  • Own the mobile app roadmap end-to-end, from discovery through launch and post-launch iteration.
  • Deep dive into app analytics and metrics to understand journeys.

Problem Solver - keen to make things better and up for the challenge of tackling unknowns. You:

  • Run structured experiments (A/B tests, phased rollouts) and make ship/iterate/stop calls based on data.
  • Define success metrics for every feature and set up the app to track them (retention, adoption, engagement, conversion).
  • Always sees the bigger picture of the product, whilst maintaining focus on the right priorities and the right time.

Stakeholder Manager - working with others seamlessly, hearing their needs, whilst being heard. You:

  • Collaborate with product & marketing teams on maximizing value for our users and the business.
  • Communicate user needs, roadmap, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to leadership and stakeholders across the company.
  • Craft inspirational demos that convey the product vision and user benefits, whilst keeping the play at the centre.
  • Clearly document release notes for a range of audiences, including our partners in quality, regulatory and compliance.

Delivery - define, build, launch and grow exceptional products.

  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria that development team can build and test against.
  • Partner daily with design, tech lead and TPM, to scope work, unblock decisions, and keep releases on track in the scrum team.
  • Triage and prioritise bugs, technical debt, and platform updates (iOS/Android OS changes) alongside new feature work.
  • Drive outstanding outcomes at every stage of the cycle – ensuring what gets built is the right thing for our users, done well, and continuously delights our users.

What we are looking for:

  • Significant hands-on product management experience with apps used for connected products, particularly those designed to deliver firmware updates to user devices.
  • Track record of shipping features that moved a core metric (retention, engagement etc).
  • Strong technical fluency: comfortable in conversations about APIs, app architecture, and platform constraints.
  • Demonstrable experience with modern user testing, digital product development and agile processes.
  • Able to define OKRs based on strategic priorities and run quarterly roadmaps from discovery through to delivery.
  • Experience running A/B tests and interpreting results with statistical rigor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A bias toward action, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Passion for interactive experiences and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Desire to push the bounds of LEGO play into new and unchartered play experiences.

• Experience with modern product development tools (JIRA, Confluence, analytics).
