We're looking for a Product Manager to join our team and take real ownership of client projects. You'll manage delivery, shape scopes, write proposals and act as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients - working closely with our Head of Product & Projects across design, development and client teams to bring products from concept through to launch.
This is a role with genuine autonomy and broad variety.
Location: Middlesbrough (hybrid working available)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Experience: 2-4 years in a product or project role
Type: Full-time, permanent
Reports to: Head of Product & Projects
What You'll Do
Project Delivery
- Own the day-to-day delivery of digital product projects across multiple client sectors, from discovery through to launch.
- Keep projects on track - managing risks, blockers and dependencies proactively, and communicating status clearly to all stakeholders.
- Assist in running agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, retrospectives and client reviews.
- Work closely with design and development teams to ensure delivery stays aligned to the brief.
- Perform quality assurance testing on new functionality before being released to clients for user acceptance testing.
- Work with the development team to triage bugs and feature requests, prioritising fixes and improvements to keep products running smoothly for clients.
Proposals & Scoping
- Lead structured discovery sessions with clients to surface requirements, challenge assumptions and define the right approach before any work begins.
- Define project scope in collaboration with clients and the Head of Product.
- Draft project proposals to a high standard from client briefs, structuring the approach, deliverables and phasing clearly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
