The BT group operates a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.

About The Role

This role sits within the Core Connectivity Product team and is responsible for the end-to-end leadership of BT Business’s Ethernet product portfolio, covering retail and wholesale markets.

You will own portfolio strategy, lifecycle management and commercial performance across national and short-haul Ethernet products, while leading a team of Product Managers.

The role plays a critical part in supporting enterprise connectivity growth, transformation to strategic platforms, and exchange closure and migration programmes, working closely with networks, technology and transformation teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the vision, strategy and investment roadmap for the Ethernet portfolio across its full lifecycle
  • Lead, develop and coach a team of Product Managers, with wider matrix leadership across programmes
  • Deliver portfolio commercial performance, including P&L, pricing and investment decisions
  • Oversee product development, in-life performance and end-of-life and migration activity
  • Support major customer bids and opportunities through portfolio leadership and subject matter expertise
  • Work closely with networks, technology, operations and partners to deliver strategic change

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Experience leading complex B2B or enterprise connectivity product portfolios
  • Strong end-to-end product lifecycle management expertise
  • Commercial acumen, including P&L ownership and business case development
  • Experience leading and developing product management teams
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet, IP or data networking technologies

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Experience across both retail and wholesale connectivity markets
  • Exposure to large enterprise, government or multinational customers
  • Transformation or platform migration experience
  • Experience supporting complex bids or large-scale opportunities
  • Experience working in Agile or product-led environments
