Your Career
You are a true Product Manager who owns discovery end to end, from identifying customer problems through to shaping a clear proposition and roadmap. You are comfortable running interviews, testing assumptions, and synthesising insights into focused problem statements that drive action. You know where your role ends and are confident handing over to a Product Owner for delivery without needing to stay close to sprint-level detail.
You bring experience from B2B SaaS or fintech and understand the buyer, the sales cycle, and how products succeed in market. You communicate clearly through concise product documents that create alignment, and you define success before work begins - setting measurable outcomes and holding yourself accountable for them. When you talk about your work, you talk about what changed for the customer or the business, not just what you shipped. Output is a by product - outcome is the goal.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You are comfortable working in ambiguity and are motivated by building something new rather than maintaining existing products. You want to leave a measurable mark on what you build.
Your Team
You will join a lean Finance product function designed for focus and impact. This is a small team building from scratch, with high ownership and the opportunity to shape how the function operates. Product Managers own discovery, strategy, and outcomes, while Product Owners focus on delivery, ensuring the role remains genuinely strategic.
You will work closely with the Product Director in a culture built on trust, autonomy, and direct communication. You will not be micromanaged, but support and challenge are always available. Success is collective, and you will have a real say in defining ways of working as the team grows.
Your Impact
You will define the problems worth solving and shape the product direction from the ground up. Your work will directly influence what is built, why it matters, and how it performs in the market.
You will contribute to bringing a new product to market, ensuring decisions are grounded in customer insight and tied to meaningful business outcomes. Success in this role is measured by the impact you create for customers and the business, not the volume of features delivered.
Skills
Strong commercial instinct - connects product decisions to revenue, retention, and competitive positioning. Excellent communicator - equally credible writing a one-pager or presenting to an exec audience. Outcome-oriented - defines success in terms of customer and business impact, not feature lists. Comfortable with ambiguity - moves forward with incomplete information while managing risk explicitly. Confident influencer - drives alignment without formal authority.
