Product Manager – Wallets Team, Visa Direct
Location: Hybrid (London Paddington – 3-days office, Tuesday–Thursday)

The Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the Wallets team for Visa Direct. This end-to-end owner role will shape the future of customer balance and ledger capabilities, ensuring alignment between customer needs, risk mitigation, and commercial success. You will:
- Define a clear product vision and roadmap
- Prioritise initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Drive execution across engineering, data science, security, and commercial teams
- Partner with go-to-market, sales, and operations to deliver scalable, intelligence-led solutions
Your leadership will bridge technical complexity, regulatory constraints, and customer experience—ensuring high-quality, friction-free solutions that ship, scale, and deliver value.
Key Responsibilities
🔮 Product Vision, Strategy & Problem Identification
- Own and articulate the product vision and roadmap for customer balance and ledger capabilities, aligned with Visa Direct’s business objectives.
- Clarify and validate underlying problems—distinguish between customer pain points and business requests to prioritise impactful solutions.
- Drive evidence-based product discovery using:
- Customer and market intelligence
- Regulatory insights
- Threat analysis
- Continuously refine roadmap priorities based on:
- Adoption signals
- Performance data
- Evolving risks
🎯 Customer Centricity & Experience
- Design scalable ledger capabilities that balance customer experience, risk prevention, and usability.
- Deeply understand workflows, pain points, and risk tolerance through customer collaboration.
- Advocate for customer outcomes in decision-making, ensuring solutions solve the right problems—not just the ones asked for.

- Translate strategy into clear plans, actionable requirements, and pre-defined success metrics.
- Lead cross-functional execution:

Qualifications & Experience
Preferred Background
- Financial services experience (a bonus, but not mandatory).
- Proven track record of:
- Delivering end-to-end product features with measurable impact.
- Navigating complex, regulated, and technically advanced environments.

- Legal & compliance teams
