Product Manager - AMS

We are currently looking for a Product Manager to be based in London on a full-time basis, reporting into the Head of Subsection – AMS.

AMS delivers stable operational services in a cost effective and adequate manner for applications in scope and IT infrastructure including onsite IT respectively provider management with a clear focus on continuous optimization of run, standardization and automation for applications. The IT Product Manager is responsible for a portfolio of applications (for specific lines of businesses). The position is responsible to ensure all functionality and updates to the application conforms to the requirements, and ensure day-to-day maintenance – including incident management, small enhancements and service requests in accordance with the defined and agreed SLAs

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal and external offshore product support resources for assigned application portfolios to ensure all incidents, service requests and enhancements are addressed in timely manner and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for the secure and stable run of the product in production as well as for the product costs.
  • Ensures the stable run of the product, including setup and management of run, support, incident and monitoring processes aligned with the needs of the business, escalates and manages solutions for critical situations.
  • Constantly checking incident volume and other monitoring activities KPIs to ensure a stable service provisioning to business including setup of necessary improvement measures.
  • Conducts compliance-related recertification procedures and checks that product is running secure.
  • Supports the product relationship management together with the Business Product Owner.
  • Plan and align product roadmap to business requirements, target architecture, and technical and security refactoring.
  • Overseeing implementation projects or conducting implementation of maintenance releases, ensuring compliant releases to production.
  • Manage the product lifecycle including functional and IT upgrades.
  • Accountable for ensuring the applications and products are working in accordance with the requirements. Mitigate escalations.
  • In case of any escalations, facilitate these by ensuring all issues are addressed appropriately and timely.
  • Ensure appropriate governance of process and controls framework is in place for all applications.
  • Ensure all application documentation and BAFin (and other) audit requirements are in place and updated on a regular basis.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Possess experience in managing technology vendors.
  • Ability to think in a global meta-organizational as well as networked manner.
  • Talent in capture things quickly as well as structure and orchestrate topics.
  • Demonstrated ability to think outside the box, innovative mindset.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT product management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with key technologies e.g. Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Oracle, SQL and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent command of Business English.
