This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and success of Idox’s portfolio of geospatial data products and services.

A Product Manager is responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and success of a product. They focus on understanding customer needs, market opportunities, business goals, and prioritising what should be built to maximise value. Product Managers work closely with stakeholders across business, design, engineering, marketing, and sales to guide product direction and ensure successful delivery.

In this role, the Data Product Manager will have responsibility for the Ordnance Survey data product portfolio and the delivery mechanisms that enable customers to access and consume those products. This includes web services, managed services, AI-friendly data services, and geospatial consultancy offerings.

You will work closely with technical, commercial, and operational teams to ensure our geospatial data products meet evolving customer requirements and align with wider business strategy. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, customer focus, commercial awareness, and strong collaboration skills.

Although you will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, Idox will provide the support, mentoring, and development opportunities needed to help you succeed and grow within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for geospatial data products and services
  • Manage the portfolio of Ordnance Survey and related geospatial data products
  • Oversee delivery channels including APIs, web services, managed services, and AI-ready data solutions
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends within the geospatial sector
  • Work closely with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and prioritise product enhancements
  • Develop and maintain product pricing, licensing, and commercial models
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and operations teams to support product delivery and service reliability
  • Support sales, marketing, and customer success teams with product knowledge and go-to-market activities
  • Maintain product information across customer-facing websites and internal systems
  • Evaluate and onboard new datasets, partnerships, and data services
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to contribute to the wider product strategy across the business
  • Ensure products remain competitive, scalable, and aligned to customer and business outcomes.

To be successful, you should bring:

  • 3 years+ of experience and knowledge of Product Management.
  • Strong written, listening, and oral communication skills.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, customer empathy and common sense.
  • Experience in UK geospatial products, particularly Ordnance Survey Products
