Product Manager – Visa Direct (Currencycloud) (Hybrid - London)

About Visa

Dedicated to uplifting everyone, everywhere, Visa offers the opportunity to create global impact—addressing meaningful challenges, growing your skills, and making real contributions. Join Visa and do work that matters—to you, your community, and the world.

Role Overview

This Product Manager role is based within Visa Direct’s Currencycloud product, focusing on building the foundational infrastructure that powers global money movement for businesses. You’ll drive cross-border payments, enabling seamless, cost-effective, and transparent fund transfers. This role sits at the core of how businesses and consumers operate, ensuring your work delivers visible impact.

As the owner of a product area, you’ll:

  • Define strategy and roadmaps based on client needs, business goals, market context, and discovery findings.
  • Drive discovery to understand how clients interact with the product, identify pain points, and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery, from problem-shaping to execution and launch.
  • Ensure high adoption across diverse regions, segments, and use cases, not just through features but through clear, compelling go-to-market strategies.

This is a hybrid role based in our London Paddington office, requiring 3 days per week attendance (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).

Responsibilities

Strategy and Vision

  • Collaborate in shaping the tribe’s strategy through deep research (market, customer, competitor, and technology).
  • Develop a product strategy and roadmap aligned with broader Visa, tribe, and functional objectives.
  • Secure alignment and buy-in from stakeholders across the business and engineering teams.
  • Convert strategy into a prioritised backlog and roadmap for your team.

Discovery

  • Lead customer discovery efforts, uncovering critical pain points, unmet needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Define and refine feature ideas with insights from client interviews and internal teams.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of payment flows, bank/corporate processes, and system architectures to ensure a holistic understanding of end-to-end operations.
  • Oversee technical and functional documentation, ensuring clarity for engineering and delivery teams.
  • Sift through data and feedback to focus on the most impactful priorities—challenging assumptions and driving actionable decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Delivery

  • Oversee end-to-end product development:
    • Reframing problems and guiding solution design.
    • Prioritising the backlog based on customer value, commercial objectives, and strategic alignment.
    • Managing roadmaps across 1-2 agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) and ensuring coherent progress.
  • Collaborate with engineering and delivery partners to maintain alignment and speed.
  • Provide clear context on prioritisation to foster autonomous, efficient decision-making.

Adoption

  • Partner with Product Marketing and GTM teams to define launches and regional positioning.
  • Drive broad adoption across markets, segments, and use cases (not just releasing features—ensuring effective usage).
  • Measure product performance and impact post-launch, acting on insights to scale successes and pivot where needed.

What Success Looks Like

  • A clear, aligned strategy and roadmap that connect customer pain points to tangible business outcomes.
  • Short-to-medium term sustained momentum in shipping high-impact features with measurable business value.
  • Demonstrated strong product judgement—proven through prioritisation, trade-off clarity, and balanced use of data.
  • Successful scale and adoption, with the product area proving its value over time.

Ideal Fit

This role thrives on self-starting, bias-to-action personalities—you own problems, make decisions, and drive progress without waiting for “perfect direction.” You’ll influence beyond your direct team and are empowered to deliver tangible outcomes. The role reports into a Product Director or Group Product Manager.
