Location: Manchester, Reading or Leicester with hybrid working
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Product & Proposition team, to be a subject matter expert within the bank for the lending and savings products.
You would support the day-to-day product management and development of Real Estate Finance, Asset Finance and Savings products, helping to deliver high-quality customer outcomes and sustainable commercial performance.
You would support effective risk and control management across the product lifecycle and work with cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements and change.

About you
For this role you will need the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working with lending and savings products, including product set-up and management of the customer lifecycle.
- Experience working with credit process (e.g., underwriting support, policy interpretation, credit operations or risk assessment).
- Knowledge of the markets the bank operates in, and an interest in competitor propositions, customer needs and regulatory expectations.
- Ability to work collaboratively to deliver product change end-to-end, coordinating inputs across channels and teams.
- Excellent relationship management skills, able to bring stakeholders together to agree decisions, actions and delivery plans.
- Understanding of relevant regulations and how they are applied to products, with a focus on supporting governance that delivers good customer outcomes.
- Comfortable working with complex and/or ambiguous data, drawing meaningful conclusions and communicating insights clearly.
- Negotiation and relationship management skills, including management of third parties.
- Proficient in conduct risk awareness and a customer-first approach, applying this consistently to product decisions and change delivery.
- Knowledge of the lending markets relevant to Real Estate Finance and Asset Finance, and awareness of key savings competitors and propositions.
- Data driven mindset, being comfortable to analyse different data sources to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Experience contributing to lending products for SME customers, partnering with frontline, operations and credit teams to improve journeys and outcomes.
- Working knowledge of underwriting and/or credit policy processes for lending products, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Credit Risk.
