๐Ÿšข Product Manager โ€” Zero to One | Maritime Intelligence | London (Hybrid)
Are you a Product Manager who builds things from scratch โ€” not just iterates on what already exists?

We are a world-leading maritime intelligence organisation at the forefront of safety, sustainability and environmental performance data. We are looking for a rare type of Product Manager โ€” one who thrives in genuine ambiguity, starts with the problem rather than the solution, and has the track record to prove it.

What makes this role different:

  • Problem-first, not solution-first โ€” you begin with true discovery, searching for real unsolved customer and market problems. No requirements or solution mandates are handed to you
  • Full accountability and ownership โ€” from raw ambiguity through opportunity framing, validation, iterative testing, launch and continuous evolution
  • Purely external and customer-facing โ€” this is not about internal tools or incremental feature management. Your work is on new, value-driven external B2B products
  • Genuine blank slate โ€” not a rebrand of an existing product. You conceive it, define it, build it and own it

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right โ€” and where to focus when applying.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading customer discovery โ€” interviews, observation, workshops and primary research to define genuine high-value problems
  • Framing and sizing opportunities using data, market analysis and hypothesis-driven thinking
  • Building ground-up product vision and strategy for new digital initiatives
  • Designing prototypes and lean MVPs to validate ideas fast โ€” iterating or pivoting based strictly on market evidence
  • Leading cross-functional teams across engineering, UX, commercial and data from the earliest moments of discovery
  • Owning go-to-market planning, value messaging and launch

What we are looking for:

  • Proven zero-to-one experience and worked within the Maritime sector โ€” you have taken ambiguous, undefined problem spaces and created entirely new customer-facing solutions
  • Discovery-first approach โ€” hands-on experience starting with ambiguity and conducting primary research to uncover and define problems
  • End-to-end ownership โ€” from raw opportunity through MVP, launch and beyond
  • External B2B SaaS or platform background โ€” ideally compliance, logistics, workflow, analytics or similar
  • Commercial strength โ€” you have built credible business cases and linked product work directly to measurable business impact
  • High agility and comfort with ambiguity โ€” success where pivots and context-switching are routine
