We are the people who give possibilities purpose

BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Advancing the world of health™ is our Purpose, and it’s no small feat. It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.

Job Description

Join BD as a Product Manager for our Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) portfolio and help shape products that improve patient care. In this role, you will define product strategy, manage the product lifecycle, and identify opportunities to grow the portfolio in line with market needs. Working closely with colleagues across multiple functions, you will turn market insights into commercial success while ensuring healthcare professionals have access to innovative solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded product professional with experience in the medical device industry who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on product management.

This role will require approximately 20% travel. Our preferred location is within Central UK or within reasonable commuting distance of our Winnersh office; however, we are open to considering candidates based in other locations.

Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver product strategies and roadmaps that support regional business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and commercial performance to identify opportunities for portfolio growth.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including product launches, commercialisation, portfolio optimisation, and end-of-life planning.
  • Create product training and marketing materials that enable commercial teams and support customer engagement.
  • Monitor product performance using commercial and market data to guide future decisions and portfolio development.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and industry organisations to gather insights and strengthen product adoption.
  • Support forecasting, pricing activities, and budget planning for the PVD portfolio.
  • Ensure all product activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
