Product Manager

Product Manager

Location: Manchester (Hybrid) Salary: £55,000–£65,000

We’re partnering with a fast-growing Manchester business rebuilding its product and technology capability from the ground up. We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead one of its core product squads.

About the Role

You’ll join a cross-functional squad responsible for designing customer-facing digital experiences used by millions of members across retail, rewards, and ecommerce-style platforms.

The business is investing heavily in product development, engineering, AI tooling, and internal capability building, creating the opportunity to shape product culture, delivery standards, and customer experience from an early stage.

This is a delivery-first product environment. Discovery matters, but shipping matters more. The team is looking for someone who can:

  • Move fast and make pragmatic decisions
  • Run smart experiments
  • Measure success by real-world results in production

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the squad roadmap, backlog, priorities, and quarterly outcomes
  • Ship meaningful product improvements every sprint, with a focus on:
    • Customer impact
    • Commercial results
    • Measurability
  • Drive experimentation in areas like:
    • Activation
    • Conversion
    • Engagement
    • Retention
  • Work closely with:
    • Engineering
    • UX Designers
    • Data Analysts
    • Marketing
    • CRM & Commercial Teams to ensure releases land effectively
  • Partner with the Tech Lead to balance:
    • Scope
    • Speed
    • Sequencing
    • Quality
  • Leverage AI tooling to accelerate:
    • Research
    • Analysis
    • Prototyping
    • Delivery workflows
  • Provide clear communication to leadership about:
    • Progress
    • Blockers
    • Risks
    • Priorities
  • Help build the broader product practice as the company scales multiple squads

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
