Product Manager
Location: Manchester (Hybrid) Salary: £55,000–£65,000
We’re partnering with a fast-growing Manchester business rebuilding its product and technology capability from the ground up. We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead one of its core product squads.
About the Role
You’ll join a cross-functional squad responsible for designing customer-facing digital experiences used by millions of members across retail, rewards, and ecommerce-style platforms.
The business is investing heavily in product development, engineering, AI tooling, and internal capability building, creating the opportunity to shape product culture, delivery standards, and customer experience from an early stage.
This is a delivery-first product environment. Discovery matters, but shipping matters more. The team is looking for someone who can:
- Move fast and make pragmatic decisions
- Run smart experiments
- Measure success by real-world results in production
Key Responsibilities
- Own the squad roadmap, backlog, priorities, and quarterly outcomes
- Ship meaningful product improvements every sprint, with a focus on:
- Customer impact
- Commercial results
- Measurability
- Drive experimentation in areas like:
- Activation
- Conversion
- Engagement
- Retention
- Work closely with:
- Engineering
- UX Designers
- Data Analysts
- Marketing
- CRM & Commercial Teams to ensure releases land effectively
- Partner with the Tech Lead to balance:
- Scope
- Speed
- Sequencing
- Quality
- Leverage AI tooling to accelerate:
- Research
- Analysis
- Prototyping
- Delivery workflows
- Provide clear communication to leadership about:
- Progress
- Blockers
- Risks
- Priorities
- Help build the broader product practice as the company scales multiple squads

Who Are We Looking For?
Must-Have Experience & Skills
✔ 4+ years in Product Ownership/Management ✔ Strong track record of shipping products and improving measurable outcomes ✔ Highly delivery-focused mindset, experienced in fast-moving product teams ✔ Deep understanding of:
- Growth frameworks
- Funnel optimisation
- Experimentation & A/B testing ✔ Commercial awareness with the ability to prioritise based on business impact ✔ Interest or experience using AI tools within product workflows ✔ Background in consumer-facing or transactional digital products ✔ Strong communication skills, with a collaborative, low-ego approach

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points)
- Experience in retail, loyalty, fintech, marketplaces, or ecommerce
- Mobile app product management expertise
- Familiarity with:
- Analytics & experimentation platforms (e.g., GA4, Firebase, FullStory, AB Tasty, Bloomreach)
- OKR frameworks
- Azure DevOps / Jira
