Our client, a leading company specialising in alternative investments, is seeking an Interim Product Consultant for a 12-month contract.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a diverse range of private wealth products, including tax-efficient inheritance solutions and listed/unlisted funds across multiple investment strategies. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical background paired with extensive experience in financial services, particularly within investment or asset management, or related sectors. The position requires excellent stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to product development, launch, and ongoing client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of product launches and fundraising activities, from strategic planning through execution, in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of investor materials, including marketing content, due diligence responses, and client communications, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Sign-off authority will be required.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality client reporting and communications, such as portfolio updates, market insights, and performance reviews for existing investors.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with investment teams, risk, compliance, operations, legal, and distribution to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of product and investor objectives, along with internal approval processes to ensure efficient workflow management.
  • Manage multiple concurrent priorities, effectively balancing project delivery with ongoing support for distribution and investment teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in financial services, investment / asset management, private banking, or ideally tax-advantaged investments.
  • Technical background with proven experience supporting product development and launches.
  • Knowledge of private markets preferred, though public market experience will be considered.
  • Experience working with high net worth individuals, ultra-high net worth clients, financial advisers, or wealth managers would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of tax-advantaged investment products is beneficial.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
