Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations: Glasgow, Perth, Reading or Havant
Salary: £59,800 - £89,800 + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time
The Role
As the Service Management Product Manager within GTS, you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision and execution of platform services that manage and optimise business processes. This role often involves managing platforms such as ServiceNow, SNOW, Apptio, and Databricks, ensuring they deliver exceptional value to the organisation.
You Will
- Strategic Planning: Develop and communicate the strategic roadmap for service management platforms, aligning with business objectives and ensuring long-term success.
- Product Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of platform features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure innovative solutions that meet user needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with the platform services.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor platform performance and usage, using data-driven insights to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all platform services comply with industry standards and organisational policies, safeguarding data integrity and privacy.

You Have
- A proven track record of working with Service Management tooling and leading technical teams.
- Current expertise in SIAM and ITIL standards and best practice.
- Skilled in communicating product roadmaps, prioritising features based on business value and user impact.
- Ability to work with end users, architects and technical teams to evolve the service to meet SSE's requirements.
- Experience in Third party Management and contract negotiations.
