An exciting position has arisen for a Product Manager to join our busy team based at the Milton Keynes Head office.

We are offering a competitive salary and ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for complete product lifecycle from New to Range right through to timely removal from stock.
  • Maintaining product & price files.
  • Implementing and maintaining optimal stock levels, including internal re-distribution of stock.
  • Stock Forecasting.
  • Supplier Negotiation.
  • Carry out Supplier benchmark analysis including pricing and cross referencing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Work closely with the Buyers to re-source any out of stock items.
  • Responsible for overseeing supplier stock cleanses.
  • Provide the Purchasing Manager with regular KPI information on stock.
  • Handling Technical queries.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to promote internal and external brand awareness.
  • Responsible for acting on all Lost Sales logged within your portfolio and providing a response to the branches.
  • Monitoring branch Bought Out Parts to see if regional sales warrant including into stock.

Essential requirements;

  • Strong level of computer literacy particularly in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Experience of working within the Automotive Aftermarket.
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • Team Player.
  • High level of both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong Technical knowledge of vehicle components.
  • Experience of using MAM Autopart.
