Product Manager – VSS Service – Design for Life

About the Role

As a Product Manager – VSS Service – Design for Life, your primary mission is to define and own the roadmap for the Design for Life service features, ensuring our products are built to maximise lifecycle value from the start. You will leverage Voice of Customer (VoC) and market insights to drive innovation, enhance competitiveness, profitability, and sustainability in the semiconductor market, reporting directly to the Global Product Manager.

Your Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Strategy & Growth:

    • Develop and optimise the service product portfolio across all lifecycle stages, delivering long-term customer value and sustainable profitability.
    • Identify growth opportunities and margin improvements to drive commercial performance.
  • Customer & Market Insights:

    • Capture and translate Voice of Customer (VoC) and market trends into actionable improvements.
    • Strengthen Customer Success and product competitiveness through data-driven decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work with Product Companies and Customer Centres to align on strong value propositions.
    • Ensure consistent execution within a decentralised organisation.

  • Marketing & Communications:

    • Deliver clear, value-based messaging aligned with product releases and customer needs.
  • Customer Alignment & Strategy:

    • Support Customer Centres in aligning service offerings with key account strategies and customer KPIs.
    • Define differentiated lifecycle propositions that maximise customer outcomes while capturing strong Edwards value.

  • Relevant Experience (3+ years):

    • Experience in a technical or commercial role in high-technology industries, ideally within semiconductors or service products.
    • Strength in sales or customer-facing activities, with the ability to position technical capabilities for business value.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills:

    • Proven ability to analyse, prioritise, and synthesise technical information from multiple sources.
    • Strong cross-cultural communication skills, including explaining complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Digital Competencies:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in digital communication tools to craft engaging messaging.
  • Preferred but Not Essential:

    • Direct experience in semiconductors or global service organisations.
    • Experience in roadmap planning or product strategy.
