Synectics Solutions exists to make the world a better place by developing software that prevents fraud and financial crime. Our platform is used by leading banks, insurers, and financial institutions to detect fraud, protect customers, and respond quickly to emerging risks.
For more than 25 years we have specialised in building complex data-driven software products used by organisations around the world.
As our company continues to grow, we are strengthening our product organisation to become more customer and market-led.
The Role
The Product Manager is responsible for identifying and prioritising the most valuable product opportunities within a defined customer segment (e.g. Banking, Insurance, Public Sector).
Working closely with customers, commercial teams, Product Owners and Engineering, the Product Manager leads discovery efforts to understand customer problems and ensure Synectics builds solutions that deliver meaningful value to customers and drive business growth.
This role focuses on customer discovery, product strategy and adoption, ensuring that product investments are aligned with real customer needs and commercial priorities.
What you’ll do
Lead customer and market discovery
- Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, operational challenges and fraud prevention environments within your segment.
- Conduct structured discovery activities including customer interviews, workflow analysis, deal engagement and market research to uncover meaningful problems worth solving.
- Identify recurring patterns across customers and translate these into clear product opportunities.

Shape product strategy and prioritisation
- Define and evolve the product direction for your segment in alignment with Synectics’ commercial goals.
- Prioritise opportunities based on customer value, commercial impact and scalability.
- Ensure product initiatives address systemic problems rather than bespoke client requests.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering to translate validated opportunities into product initiatives.
Drive adoption & commercial impact
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to clearly articulate the value of Synectics’ products.
- Support key customer conversations where product expertise is required.
- Ensure new capabilities are designed to drive adoption across our client base.
- Use customer feedback and market signals to continuously refine product priorities.
Collaborate across the organisation
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure discovery insights and product intent are translated into effective product solutions.
- Provide clear context to Engineering teams about the problems we are solving and the value we aim to create.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Delivery teams to ensure product evolution aligns with real customer needs.

What you'll bring
Required
- 4+ years’ experience in Product Management, Product Strategy or a similar role
- Experience conducting customer discovery and translating insights into product opportunities
- Experience working with complex software products and engineering teams
- Strong analytical thinking and problem framing skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly desirable
- Experience in financial services, fraud prevention or enterprise SaaS
- Experience working in regulated industries such as banking or insurance
- Experience collaborating closely with sales or customer success teams
- Experience shaping product propositions or go-to-market strategies
