Product Marketing Consultant

~10 hrs/week | Hourly rate | Remote, async-first

About the Engagement

Time Doctor is a workforce analytics platform helping leaders understand how work actually happens across remote, hybrid, and in-office teams. We’re hiring an experienced Product Marketing Consultant for a flexible, project-based role.

This is a strategic and execution-focused position where you’ll collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Your work will translate product capabilities into clear market positioning, ensuring new features are successfully launched, adopted, and understood by our target buyers.

Key expectations:

  • Strong product marketing fundamentals
  • Proven B2B SaaS experience with full go-to-market (GTM) ownership (not just contribution)
  • Ability to hit the ground running with minimal ramp time

  • Positioning & Messaging

    • Craft web page content, persona narratives, and use case stories
  • Competitive Intelligence

    • Create battlecards and objection handles
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor positioning
  • Sales & Customer Success Enablement

    • Design actionable materials based on real deal feedback
    • Refine assets for high-impact, practical use
  • Measurement & Impact Tracking

    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to validate GTM effectiveness
    • Analyze signals to ensure product and messaging strategies are working
  • AI-Powered Tooling

    • Build AI-assisted PMM tools to streamline and scale marketing projects
    • Experience using AI in workflows and building custom solutions expected

What We’re Looking For

You should have:

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS Product Marketing Management experience, with full ownership of GTM campaigns (not just contributions)
  • Strong positioning & messaging skills – Deliver precise, flavorful adjustments with minimal iterations
  • Competitive intelligence expertise – Gather, analyze, and translate insights into useful artifacts
  • Exposure to workforce analytics, HCM, or adjacent SaaS categories (a plus)
  • Metric-savvy: Track GTM performance with clear ROI indicators
  • Consulting background preferred – Ability to self-scope work and operate with minimal oversight
