As a Product Marketing Director at Workiva, you'll be hands on and own product marketing for one of Workiva’s core areas across EMEA: Finance, GRC, or an Industry. This is a high impact individual contributor role that works across sales, marketing and product leadership to bring Workiva’s innovations and value propositions to life. Day to day, you’ll be the person who deeply understands your buyers; what keeps them up at night, and what problems they’re willing to invest in solving. You’ll translate that knowledge into differentiated positioning and messaging, and sales assets and plays that help Workiva win. You’ll close the loop by bringing market and competitive insights back into the business to inform product direction, pricing, and where we focus next.
What You’ll Do
Define and Own the Market Narrative
Build clear, differentiated messaging and positioning that shows how Workiva solves real problems for EMEA buyers in your solution area Build clear, differentiated messaging and positioning that shows how Workiva solves real problems for EMEA buyers within a specific solution area of Fiinance, GRC, or an Industry segment Turn complex product capabilities into simple, compelling stories for senior executives and practitioners Guide consistent messaging across campaigns, events, and executive communications
Drive Go-to-Market Excellence
Own the GTM strategy for your solution area end to end, from launch planning through revenue impact Partner with Competitive Intelligence to build battlecards and sales tools that help reps win deals Create and maintain sales assets and enablement materials—including first-call decks, solution content decks, data sheets, and sales plays Author and review content for campaigns, webinars, events, and demand generation programs Arm field teams with the training, content, and insights they need to shorten deal cycles across multiple EMEA countries

Be the Voice of the EMEA Market
Bring customer and competitive insights back into the business to shape regional strategy and global product direction Understand why we’re winning and losing; work across Product, Sales, and Marketing to address gaps Engage directly with customers, prospects, and industry leaders through events, webinars, and thought leadership Spot regulatory and market shifts early and position Workiva ahead of them
What You’ll Bring
10+ years of experience in product marketing or closely related roles (product management, industry or corporate marketing, sales) Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or a related field B2B marketing or product marketing experience in the SaaS industry; experience supporting sales channels strongly preferred Familiarity with European regulatory environments and experience running GTM across multiple countries
Preferred Qualifications
Storytelling: Ability to translate complex, technical products, including AI, into clear, compelling, differentiated value for both executives and practitioners Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to align leaders across Sales, Product, Enablement, and Customer Success behind a shared plan Customer Focus: Track record of turning buyer and market insight into positioning that wins AI Fluency: Uses AI tools regularly to work faster and sharpen strategy Experience in one or more of the following domains is a strong plus: financial reporting, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), and/or financial services (banking, insurance, investment management)
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Up to 30% travel for customer engagements, field events, and internal meetings across EMEA Reliable internet access for any period working remotely and not in a Workiva office
