The Opportunity
Riskonnect is seeking a product marketing manager responsible for making our products "fly-off the shelf".
This role focuses on aligning product strategy with sales and marketing tactics rather than delivering demos or highlighting features (though these may occasionally occur). You’ll act as the product evangelist, playing a key role in organizing product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of buyers: You’ll be the expert on who they are, how they buy, and their critical decision-making factors.
- Competitive intelligence: Deep understanding of what competitors do now—and plan to do in the future.
- Strategic positioning: Develop positioning and messaging tailored to our target audience, using data-driven insights.
- Buyer journey mapping: Understand the purchasing process, including information sources and decision-making dynamics, then refine sales/marketing approaches accordingly.
- Multichannel consistency: Ensure product and marketing messaging align across all channels and touchpoints.
- Demand generation: Collaborate with the marketing team to design programs that drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Product launches: Partner with product management to plan and execute new product and feature releases.
- Sales enablement: Train internal sales channels on buyer needs and tool usage while developing effective collateral.
- Thought leadership: Represent Riskonnect externally through speaking engagements, written content, and industry engagement.
- Platform advocacy: Deepen understanding of our integrated risk management platform’s value.
- Roadmap influence: Keep a strong feedback loop to impact the product strategy.
- Performance measurement: Set and track goals related to product adoption and content engagement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
