Why Join Us?
At Codebase Technologies, you’ll have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that redefine financial services across emerging and developed markets. We foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, empowering our people to solve complex challenges, grow their careers, and contribute to building the next generation of digital banking experiences.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Codebase Technologies is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own the positioning, messaging, and sales enablement for the Digibanc™ digital banking platform. This is one of the most strategically important hires in the marketing function — you will be the person who translates a technically complex, multi-module SaaS platform into language that resonates with bank CIOs, CDOs, and digital transformation leads across MENA, South Asia, SEA, and Africa.
You will work closely with the Managing Partner (and later the Head of Marketing), the Technical Product Analyst team, and the commercial team to build the narratives, tools, and intelligence that enable Codebase to win in a competitive market against Backbase, Mambu, Temenos, and regional alternatives.
Beyond messaging and sales enablement, you will own customer insights—leading win/loss analysis, discovery interviews, and market research to inform product and marketing strategy. You will also own the content strategy for Digibanc™, including case studies, whitepapers, and thought leadership that build credibility in the fintech space.
This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role. You won't just write documents—you will shape how the market perceives Digibanc™ and directly influence the commercial team's ability to win.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A storyteller who can make a complex product feel simple and compelling to a senior banking audience
- Detail-oriented and rigorous — your battlecards are accurate, your messaging is consistent, your decks don’t have errors
- Proactively engaged with the market — you read the trade press, follow competitor moves, and bring intelligence to the team unprompted
- Collaborative with sales — you treat the commercial team as your primary customer and measure yourself by whether they actually use what you produce
- Cross-functional by nature — you work seamlessly across product, sales, engineering, and marketing
- Executive presence — you present with confidence to C-level bankers and senior leadership, handling tough questions with poise
- Customer-obsessed — you're driven by understanding customer pain points and use insights to shape messaging and strategy
- Strategically minded — you think beyond individual assets and own the big-picture narrative and positioning

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Positioning & Messaging
- Own the Digibanc™ platform narrative: what it is, who it’s for, why it’s different, and why it wins
- Develop and maintain messaging frameworks for each target segment — retail banks, digital banks, Islamic banks, microfinance institutions, and telco-led fintechs
- Translate platform capabilities (onboarding, payments, lending, cards, embedded finance) into business-outcome language for each buyer persona
- Ensure messaging consistency across all marketing and sales touchpoints: website, decks, one-pagers, ads, and event materials
- Continuously test and refine messaging based on customer feedback, win/loss data, and market response
Customer Insights & Market Research
- Lead customer discovery interviews and win/loss analysis to understand what drives buying decisions
- Synthesize customer feedback, market trends, and competitive movements into actionable insights for product and commercial teams
- Partner with the Technical Product Analyst team to ensure market priorities are reflected in the product roadmap
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of the regional banking landscape — including regulatory trends, pain points, and buying behaviors across MENA, South Asia, and SEA
Sales Enablement
- Build and maintain the core sales enablement library: battlecards, pitch decks, demo scripts, module-level one-pagers, objection-handling guides, and proposal templates
- Develop RFP/RFI response frameworks for the commercial team to accelerate bid processes
- Train the commercial team on messaging, competitive positioning, and how to handle common objections from bank procurement teams
- Coordinate with the Technical Product Analyst team to ensure product release communications are packaged for both client and market audiences
- Track usage and effectiveness of sales enablement materials — and iterate based on sales feedback and deal outcomes
Competitive Intelligence
- Own the competitive intelligence function: monitor Backbase, Mambu, Temenos, Finacle, i-exceed, and regional digital banking platform vendors
- Produce structured competitive updates (quarterly minimum) covering positioning changes, new product launches, customer wins, pricing signals, and analyst coverage
- Build and maintain live competitor battlecards accessible to the commercial team
- Identify whitespace in competitor positioning where Codebase can build a differentiated narrative
Product Launch & Market Communications
- Manage product launch communications: define launch tiers, write market-facing release notes, coordinate with content and demand gen on amplification
- Own the content briefing process for all product-related marketing content — ensuring accuracy and consistency across website, social, email, and campaign channels
- Partner with the content team to develop case studies, whitepapers, and thought leadership that build credibility in the fintech space
- Brief and collaborate with the Digital Team to ensure technical features are represented accurately in all external communications
