Job Description Summary
GE Vernova is a pioneering force in the energy industry, dedicated to innovation and excellence. We are seeking a dynamic PQP Product Market Leader to support market intelligence, competitive analysis, and commercial enablement activities, providing the Product Management team with the data and materials needed to drive product strategy and positioning.
Job Description
The Opportunity
This is a genuinely new kind of role at GE Vernova — and that's exactly what makes it exciting.
As the Product Marketing Manager for Power Quality Products (PQP), you will be the intelligence hub connecting our product, commercial, and technical teams. You will ensure that what we build and how we position it is always anchored in what the market actually needs. Working within GE Vernova's Power Transmission (PT) organisation and reporting to the PQP Product Leader, your work will directly shape decisions on product strategy, portfolio priorities, and go-to-market execution – across a global footprint spanning multiple regions, utilities, and regulatory environments.
The PQP portfolio spans Capacitors and Banks, Air Core Reactors, and PQP Engineered Solutions. This role has been created in response to business growth and a series of new product introductions (NPIs) currently in progress – so you will be joining at a moment of genuine momentum.
No one in this business currently holds this position. You will be defining what it looks like.
What You Will Do:
- Drive market intelligence: Analyse market trends, customer expectations, and competitor activities across global regions to identify growth opportunities and portfolio priorities for PQP products.
- Fuel product strategy: Work closely with the PQP product management team, R&D, tendering, and Product Sales Specialists (PSS) to translate market insight into structured inputs that inform product roadmaps, positioning, and commercial priorities.
- Build commercial enablement tools: Develop value propositions, battle cards, pricing analyses, and product presentations that help regional sales teams compete and win in the field.
- Support new product launches: Lead the commercial aspects of NPI (New Product Introduction) launches, ensuring sales teams have the technical, competitive, and market context they need.
- Deliver data-driven insight: Produce regular market assessments, pricing and margin trend analyses, and strategic presentations for leadership – using tools including Salesforce, Tableau, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
- Engage customers and stakeholders: Build relationships across internal functions and, selectively, with external customers at engineering and procurement level to gather direct market intelligence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
