We’re seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to shape marketing proposals that drive growth, differentiation, and market cut-through. This role will focus on Data and Developer Solutions, including Active Intelligence, BT’s mobile-powered insights proposition, while having opportunities to expand into broader Growth & Go-To-Market responsibilities.
The role is cross-functional, collaborating with teams across Marketing, Product, Sales, Commercial, Legal, PR, and Corporate Communication.
The Role & Responsibilities
You’ll lead end-to-end product marketing to grow revenue, enhance customer engagement, and expand market presence for Active Intelligence. Key tasks include:
Strategic & Executive Leadership
- Define, develop, and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals to drive long-term growth
- Set differentiated propositions for Active Intelligence through extensive stakeholder collaboration
- Spearhead marketing strategy for Data & Developer Solutions, leveraging the full marketing mix
Programme & Campaign Development
- Design, launch, and optimise marketing campaigns in support of the overall strategy
- Author and translate business cases to secure approval and investment for initiatives
- Producer detailed programme execution plans, translating objectives into actionable tactics
Content & Distribution
- Maintain and Own Active Intelligence’s presence on LinkedIn, generating industry-aware thought leadership
- Lead content strategy for online platforms, including web properties and landing pages that generate leads
- Develop high-quality long-form content, e.g. blogs, white papers, case studies, webinars, and podcasts
- Curate customer-focused content, e.g. use cases, tutorials, executive briefings

Events & External Engagement
- Identify and secure conference attendance, sponsorship, and speaking opportunities tailored to B2B data & insights
- Conduct competitive monitoring to focus on emerging opportunities for Active Intelligence
Internal Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships across Marketing, Product, Sales, Commercial, and Legal to align messaging and activities
- Foster effective internal PR alignment, ensuring Active Intelligence topics feature in media stories
- Collaborate with partners and suppliers to ensure end-to-end delivery
Performance & Analytics
- Measure and optimise campaign ROI, focusing on lead conversion and sales metrics
- Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and driving revenue growth
Essential Skills & Experience
- Product Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding and track record of product marketing disciplines, with hands-on breadth across the full martech stack
- Relevant Degree or In-House Experience: Degree in marketing, business, or relevant field OR significant in-house/agency experience
- B2B Sales Focus: Comprehensive knowledge of B2B data-driven products and emerging tech trends
- Zero-to-One Mindset: Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-uncertainty environments with full project accountability
- Product & CRM Tool Fluency: Hands-on experience with product marketing tools, Salesforce, and analytics platforms
Desirable Qualities
While not all mandatory, we value:
- Experience in scaling B2B startups/public audiences for geolocation-insights-like products
- Strong knack for stakeholder influence, clear communication of complex concepts
- Analytical prowess, applying data to drive strategic decisions
- Team leadership—experience managing small teams or coordinating complex projects
- Focused content priorities—demonstrable ability to develop useful tutorials and customer-facing guides
- Commercial awareness and a start-up mindset, with financial and strategic intelligent
- Experience using data visualisation tools to showcase output
- Deep familiarity with customer development processes and product roadmapping methods
