We have an exciting opportunity at Jimmy Choo for a Merchandising Assistant to join the Shoes Merchandising team based at the Head Office in London, in a permanent position reporting to the Merchandising Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support during the development and selling of the collection
  • Support the Merchandising team in updating key development documents and tools such as sample launch file and collection grid
  • Support the team during the set up and maintenance of the collection overviews and internal documents for selling
  • Set up and maintenance of the collection offer in the Product Management System (PLM) as well as in JOOR
  • Coordinate timely receipt of first set of samples in London, ensure samples are carefully unpacked, tracked and displayed in the showroom
  • Coordinate and monitor sample shipments between showrooms

  • Elaboration of Market studies

  • Analysis of competition in terms of prices, offer, structure of collection, materials etc.

  • Trend analysis

  • Ad-hoc analysis as requested by the Merchandising team

  • In depth analysis of sell-in and sell-out results

  • Detailed sales analysis by product type, function, region etc, identifying best & worst sellers and highlighting potential opportunities within the collection

  • Supporting with weekly sell-out reporting

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Graduate Calibre (or equivalent)
  • Experience in working for a fashion brand
  • Advanced Excel skills, Product Management Software skills
  • Commercial and analytical (good interpreter of information and story teller)
  • Excellent communication skills, detail conscious, problem solver, planner, organised thinker able to work under pressure, deadline and delivery driven
