The Role

As Product Owner for Marketing Compliance and Consent, you will own the technical product strategy and delivery roadmap for the systems and capabilities that govern how we communicate with our customers—ensuring every marketing interaction is compliant, consented, and built on a foundation of trust.

You will sit at the intersection of regulatory obligations, marketing ambition, and technical delivery—translating complex compliance requirements into clear, actionable product outcomes, and working closely with engineering teams, legal, data, and marketing teams to deliver solutions at pace.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the technical product vision and roadmap for marketing compliance and consent management capabilities.
  • Translate regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, PECR, market-specific gambling marketing regulations) into well-defined, prioritised product features and user stories.
  • Define and maintain a clear backlog that balances compliance obligations, business goals, and customer experience.
  • Make prioritisation decisions with confidence, clearly articulating trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
  • Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
  • Reach out to Compliance Teams if unsure of any compliance obligations or unclear on requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
