Product Owner – Health & Safety (H&S) Team
Location: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in office)

Our product portfolio spans HR, Health & Safety, certification, and more, supporting daily tasks and long-term business growth.
As a Product Owner in our Safety team, you will take ownership of features in our H&S system that lie at the forefront of this vision. Your role will involve:
- Improving workflows for customers
- Extracting insights
- Driving innovation (especially through AI) to deliver high-impact, intuitive experiences that provide measurable value for clients and the business.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver product strategy for one or more product areas, ensuring alignment with group objectives and client needs.
- Own product performance, tracking and improving key metrics such as:
- Adoption
- Engagement
- Customer satisfaction
- Commercial contribution
- Drive discovery and prioritisation, translating customer insights, business input, and market analysis into actionable product decisions.
- Shape product roadmaps that:
- Deliver short-term value
- Provide long-term differentiation
- Balance ambition with feasibility
- Work closely with engineering teams to maintain a well-structured, prioritised backlog that delivers frequent, high-value deliverables.
- Champion simplicity and usability, ensuring products are:
- Intuitive
- Effective
- Enjoyable for diverse customer personas
- Embed AI tools (e.g., generative, predictive, assistive) into:
- Internal processes
- Client-facing features
- Enhance productivity, insights, and decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally with:
- Commercial
- Service
- Marketing
- Data teams
- Ensure joined-up planning and execution
- Ensure clarity in direction through:
- High-quality briefs
- User stories
- Documentation
- Guiding development with purpose
- Act as the product expert, maintaining a deep understanding of:
- Product role
- Performance
- Growth opportunities

Requirements
- Proven experience owning digital products in tech-enabled or service-oriented environments.
- A commercial product thinker who balances:
- Customer empathy
- Business acumen
- Strong strategic and hands-on delivery capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to influence all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to work in complex, multi-product environments with:
- Multiple brands
- Systems
- Legacy constraints
- Fluency in user-centred design, with a keen focus on UX and simplicity.
- A pragmatic approach to Agile—result-driven over ritualistic execution.
- Awareness of AI applications to enhance either:
- User experience
- Operational efficiency
