Product Owner

Hybrid (Manchester – 2 days per week) | £55,000

We are looking for a Product Owner to sit at the centre of our product, marketing, and compliance functions. This role ensures alignment, structure, and execution across departments. You will be responsible for maintaining operational cadence, prioritising business-critical initiatives, and ensuring delivery across multiple moving parts in a regulated performance marketing environment.

You will act as the operational bridge between Product, Marketing, Compliance, Sales, and Leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership

    • Take full ownership of two products end-to-end, from proposition definition through to market readiness.
    • Define and drive the go-to-market strategy for each product, including positioning, pricing, and route to market.
    • Identify commercial opportunities and translate them into clear product and growth priorities.
  • Commercial Growth & Revenue

    • Own the commercial performance of both products, with clear accountability for revenue targets.
    • Build and execute strategies to acquire, grow, and retain customers and partners.
    • Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and market opportunities across both products.
    • Track and report on commercial KPIs, using data to drive decisions and iterate quickly.
  • Data & Technical Literacy

    • Confidently interrogate data to understand product performance, customer behaviour, and commercial trends.
    • Work directly with data and reporting tools to pull insights without relying on others.
    • Understand how tracking, integrations, and data pipelines work at a functional level — enough to spot problems, ask the right questions, and hold technical teams accountable.
    • Translate complex data into clear commercial narratives for leadership and stakeholders.
    • Use data proactively to identify where growth is happening, where it isn’t, and what to do about it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

    • Report directly to leadership with clear, data-driven updates on progress and performance.
  • Compliance & Governance

    • Ensure both products operate within regulatory requirements at all times.
    • Embed compliance into go-to-market planning from the outset, not as an afterthought.

  • Confident interrogating data and reporting independently, without relying on others to interpret it.
