Product Owner – Strategic Transformation
Location: London or Bristol
Contract: Inside IR35
Working arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the delivery of complex change and strategic transformation initiatives within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritise the product backlog in line with business objectives and OKRs.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver technical change.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Scrum teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
- Challenge technical requirements and support effective decision-making.
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies and competing priorities.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, delivery teams and business SMEs.
- Support complex transformation programmes from discovery through to implementation.

Essential Experience
- Strong experience in product management and end-to-end delivery.
- Proven delivery of strategic or complex transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with technical and cross-functional teams to deliver change.
- Ability to understand and challenge complex technical requirements.
- Strong Agile delivery experience across Scrum and Kanban.
- Extensive hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience shaping Scrum-team delivery against agreed OKRs.
- Financial services experience or experience in another highly regulated environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
