- Work directly with fully remote engineering teams to refine stories, clarify requirements, and unblock delivery
- Partner with the leadership teams to shape the product roadmap
- Interface with internal stakeholders and customers to gather requirements and validate solutions

- Make pragmatic trade-off decisions between features, technical debt, and operational stability
- Track and communicate progress, managing expectations across the business
- Understand our technical architecture well enough to have informed discussions about APIs, data models, and integration patterns
- Facilitate three amigo sessions, requirement gathering workshops, and story estimation sessions with engineering teams

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Should Know About This Role
This is a genuinely autonomous role. You'll be the only product person, which means independence and impact, but also means you won't have a product team around you for support or collaboration. If you thrive in ambiguity and like building things from scratch, this could be ideal. If you prefer established product processes and frameworks, it might be challenging.
You'll report to the CTO and work closely with the Director of Software Engineering. You'll need to be comfortable with technical discussions and earn credibility with an engineering-heavy organisation.
Interview Process
The Interview Process Would Typically Be Structured As Follows
- Initial chat. This would be with a member of our recruitment team and help to better understand your current situation, what you are looking for, and any questions you may have
- Product Interview. This will be with the CTO and engineering leadership, covering your approach to product ownership and stakeholder management
- Case Study. We'll share a realistic product scenario and ask you to talk through your approach
- Final Interview. This will cover cultural fit, working style, and how you'd approach the first 90 days
Our employees are our top priority; we offer comprehensive health and wellness plans. You will enjoy paid time off and company holidays, flexible and remote-friendly opportunities, and maternity/paternity leave.
