Be the product voice for our platform

6+ years in product roles, with proven ability to work autonomously

We are Provenir AI, part of the Provenir group, a global fintech company with a passion for technology and helping businesses become industry leaders. As a leading provider of decisioning and analytics products for financial services and other industries, we empower businesses to create innovative, digital-first financial decisioning solutions that drive business growth.

You'll be the product owner for our platform, working across multiple product streams including 1datapipe®, customer profiling, and innovation projects. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the product voice within the engineering team.

The team fosters a vibrant and collaborative culture. We're looking for someone who thrives with autonomy for this role. You'll be building the product function as we grow, but right now this means rolling up your sleeves and doing the work yourself.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritise the product backlog across the entire platform
  • Work directly with fully remote engineering teams to refine stories, clarify requirements, and unblock delivery
  • Partner with the leadership teams to shape the product roadmap
  • Interface with internal stakeholders and customers to gather requirements and validate solutions
  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
  • Make pragmatic trade-off decisions between features, technical debt, and operational stability
  • Track and communicate progress, managing expectations across the business
  • Understand our technical architecture well enough to have informed discussions about APIs, data models, and integration patterns
  • Facilitate three amigo sessions, requirement gathering workshops, and story estimation sessions with engineering teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

What You Should Know About This Role

This is a genuinely autonomous role. You'll be the only product person, which means independence and impact, but also means you won't have a product team around you for support or collaboration. If you thrive in ambiguity and like building things from scratch, this could be ideal. If you prefer established product processes and frameworks, it might be challenging.

You'll report to the CTO and work closely with the Director of Software Engineering. You'll need to be comfortable with technical discussions and earn credibility with an engineering-heavy organisation.

Interview Process

The Interview Process Would Typically Be Structured As Follows

  • Initial chat. This would be with a member of our recruitment team and help to better understand your current situation, what you are looking for, and any questions you may have
  • Product Interview. This will be with the CTO and engineering leadership, covering your approach to product ownership and stakeholder management
  • Case Study. We'll share a realistic product scenario and ask you to talk through your approach
  • Final Interview. This will cover cultural fit, working style, and how you'd approach the first 90 days

Our employees are our top priority; we offer comprehensive health and wellness plans. You will enjoy paid time off and company holidays, flexible and remote-friendly opportunities, and maternity/paternity leave.

At Provenir, we recognize that diversity and inclusion make our teams stronger. We are committed to equal employment opportunity and welcome everyone regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, domestic partner status, citizenship, or veteran status or medical condition. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
