Product Owner 12-month initial fixed-term contract Salary: £50–60k Hybrid working – 2 days on-site in Manchester

About the Role
As a Product Owner, you’ll bridge the gap between clients, development teams, and stakeholders to:
- Own product roadmaps and backlog management for multiple web and API-based applications.
- Translate business requirements into deliverable solutions through clarity and collaboration.
- Shape future product direction with genuine influence within a collaborative Agile environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with clients, developers, and stakeholders to refine product vision and prioritise features.
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Deliver feature demonstrations and support issue investigations.
- Contribute to technical documentation and drive end-to-end product delivery.

Essential Criteria
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or equivalent Agile product role.
- Strong business analysis skills to gather, refine, and document requirements.
- Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria clearly.
- Experience prioritising and maintaining product backlogs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.
- Technical collaboration with developers and testers.

- Knowledge of Azure DevOps Boards and Confluence.
- Experience with SQL, APIs, and data formats (JSON/CSV).
