Location: UK-London Worker Type: Permanent Corporate Grade: D - Assistant Vice President Reporting Line: (UK Division) Trading & COO Shift Pattern: Standard 40 Hour Week (United Kingdom) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Overall Purpose of Role:
You will join the product team at the core of delivering high quality, innovative and relevant solutions to the LME with the purpose of:
- In conjunction with the business owner, sets the product vision, objectives and outcomes
- Accountable for maximizing the value of the product, the delivery of the product goal and product backlog
- Represent the needs of the many stakeholders across LME and LME Clear
- Has the mandate to make business decisions where impact is contained within the product
- Owns the product backlog prioritisation and sequencing, ensuring the team implements the right requirements
- Accountable for all stages of the delivery
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Business Owner and Service Owner and other stakeholders to define the roadmap with the key product goals and objectives needed to deliver the solution. Build and maintain a healthy backlog
- Constantly manage priorities to ensure work is focused, with effective management and refinement of the product backlog
- Provide vision and direction to the delivery teams; ensure that the team always has a healthy backlog of work
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Ensure scope is always clear and understood and support teams to elaborate and break-down features
- Lead the scoping of product releases; set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Evaluate the work generated by the delivery teams against Acceptance Criteria and desired outcomes
- Collaborate and coordinate with other Product Owners as applicable
- Manage stakeholders
- Create user stories, epics, and features and acceptance criteria
- Gathering requirements and writing high level requirements
- Key participant in Sprint Planning and agreeing content for each Sprint

Desirable Academic and Professional Qualifications Required:

- Agile Leadership Training
- CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) – Product Owner Certification
- PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) preferable not essential
Required Knowledge and Level of Experience:
- Experience working as a Product Owner / Product Manager
- Experience working in an exchange or financial organization desirable
- Sound knowledge in IT, management, and agile software development.
- Experience of using agile methods and frameworks e.g. Scrum, Kanban and Lean as a minimum
