Product Owner

Join Our Team as a Product Owner at Hawk-Eye Innovations

Hi, I’m Alison Marr, Product Lead for the Tracking and Auto Officiating Value Stream at Hawk-Eye Innovations. Are you interested in working with the latest technologies in a fast-paced environment, with exciting career opportunities in a growing business?

At Hawk-Eye, we build technology that powers some of the most exciting and critical moments in sport, from instant replays and broadcast augmentation to officiating systems trusted by leagues, federations, broadcasters, and millions of fans worldwide.

Our Value Stream delivers the tracking and automatic officiating services that have revolutionized global sport. From our world-renowned ball and object tracking systems to SkeleTRACK, our real-time skeletal tracking tech that powers Semi-Automated Offside Technology (SAOT) and electronic line-calling we turn live athletic movement into precise, high-stakes decisions and elite data insights.

We are looking for an experienced, highly autonomous Product Owner to take full ownership of a major product, platform, or technology across its complete lifecycle. At Level 4, you will step beyond day-to-day backlog management to actively shape short-to-medium-range roadmaps, define strategic OKRs, and manage complex stakeholder relationships with some of the biggest names in elite global sports. We need a technical, highly organised leader who can navigate ambiguity, make high-impact trade-off decisions, and drive consistency across our product portfolio while ensuring our solutions exceed the highest standards and strict customer SLAs.

What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Backlog & Scope Ownership: Serve as the definitive voice of the user, client, and business. Fully own the team backlog, defining epics, features, and user stories—and proactively handle complex dependencies and time-critical priorities to maximise ROI. Roadmap, Vision & Market Strategy: Actively contribute to and shape the strategic roadmap and vision for our tracking portfolio. Research the market, track competitors, and perform deep user analysis to proactively propose improvements to system reliability, scalability, and UX. Stakeholder Management & Ambiguity: Champion your product as its primary global ambassador. Lead high-level technical and business discussions, align cross-functional engineering teams, and successfully navigate complex, ambiguous environments to keep deliveries on track. Quality & Built-In Engineering Excellence: Collaborate with Development Leads, Solution Architects, and QA to enforce common architectural patterns. Ensure built-in quality at every stage to completely eliminate the cost of delays (CoDs) associated with rework or recalls. Operational Readiness & 3rd Line Support: Define success metrics and monitor operational data to guide business decisions. Oversee 3rd-line support within your product scope and guarantee that training, documentation, and testing are executed flawlessly ahead of rollout into BAU.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
