Summary

As Product Owner, you will be responsible for translating customer and business requirements into deliverable software functionality. You will work closely with Product Management, Development, QA, Support, and Sales teams to define priorities, manage releases, and ensure successful product delivery. We are specifically looking for someone with CAD/CAM or CNC manufacturing experience who understands how manufacturing software is used in practice.

The position is primarily remote within the UK, with optional hybrid working near Telford or Cobham. Occasional travel for team meetings and customer visits will be required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and refine product requirements and priorities
  • Translate customer and business needs into user stories and development tasks
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog
  • Work closely with development teams to plan and deliver releases
  • Lead sprint planning and backlog refinement activities
  • Ensure agreed functionality is delivered to high quality standards
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Support, QA, Sales, and external stakeholders
  • Present new functionality and product updates internally and externally
  • Analyse manufacturing workflows and customer challenges to identify practical software solutions

Qualifications

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software or CNC manufacturing
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and customer workflows
  • Experience in Product Owner, Product Management, Project Management, or similar role
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban)
  • Ability to work closely with development teams and prioritise requirements
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
