Hybrid – 2 Days Per Week | South East

£37,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary

The Opportunity:

Our client is a market-leading Automotive software business whose platforms are used by thousands of customers across the UK and Europe. They're investing heavily in Product and Technology and are looking for another Product Owner to join their growing team.

The Role:

It's a hands-on Product Owner position where you'll work at the heart of Agile software delivery, collaborating with Product Managers and Software Engineers to build and improve customer-facing software.

Working within an established Product team, you'll be responsible for translating business and customer requirements into well-defined user stories that enable development teams to deliver valuable new functionality.

You'll own and refine the Product Backlog, work closely with developers throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle and ensure new features are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and prioritise the Product Backlog.
  • Write detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Work closely with Software Engineers throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
  • Lead and contribute to Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and Sprint Reviews.
  • Gather requirements from customers and business stakeholders.
  • Work with QA to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Support product releases and continuous product improvements.
  • Act as the link between Product, Engineering and the wider business.

We're looking for someone who has already worked within an Agile Product team and can contribute from day one.

You'll ideally have experience of:

  • Writing commercial User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Managing or refining a Product Backlog.
  • Working closely with Software Engineers.
  • Participating in Sprint Planning and Backlog Refinement.
  • Gathering and translating business requirements into Product requirements.
  • Jira, Confluence and Agile Scrum environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
