About this role
As the Product Owner for the Property Accounting areas of our YAVICA products, you will be responsible for:
- Gathering and prioritising product requirements
- Ensuring alignment with business goals
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality software solution
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Product Manager to understand the product vision, customer requirements, and feature priorities
- Maintaining the product backlog, ensuring all features are captured, clearly written, and reflect current priorities and statuses
- Conceptualising and producing functional designs that meet customer needs, including diagrams, mock-ups, and documents
- Engaging with customers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet requirements; capturing feedback, and keeping them informed
- Staying on top of the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 features, evaluating and making recommendations where appropriate
- Working closely with other Product Owners and the Head of Product Ownership to align features across teams; to ensure deliverables meet standards; to obtain peer review and endorsement on solution designs
- Collaborating with technical architects to ensure technical and functional designs are aligned
- Collaborating with developers to clarify acceptance criteria, answer questions, and make decisions during feature implementation
- Being accountable for product quality, working with Junior Product Owners and testing resources to define acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and test cases for automated and manual testing
- Performing acceptance testing of delivered features
- Participating in defect triage, validation, resolution, and testing
- Ensuring documentation and training materials accurately reflect features and functionality of the solution

Requirements
You might be a great fit if you have:

A qualification in a relevant field: Computer Science, Accounting, Business, etc.

Domain knowledge in Real Estate, Property Management, or Property Accounting processes or software

Domain knowledge in the Microsoft platform, especially Dynamics Finance & Operations

Communication skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, to articulate functional designs, engage with stakeholders, and align team members on deliverables
- Ability to clearly convey functional designs and acceptance criteria

UI/UX skills:
- Familiarity with design standards, usability, user experience principles, and user-centric design

Customer understanding:
- Understanding business processes, roles, and the underlying “why” of customer needs

Analytical skills:
- Analysing business processes
- Identifying solutions that satisfy a range of use cases
- Analysing solution options for suitability
- Identifying minimum viable product
- Researching and evaluating tools and approaches

Technical skills:
- Sufficient experience in software development to engage effectively with technical teams on design and decisions

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for successful delivery
